Camelia Rostom - Artistic Curriculum -Brief biography

Camellia Rostom,( Artistic name Camelia Rostom)  born in Beirut, Lebanon, in 1981, graduated in Art Education at the Lebanese University - Pedagogical Faculty in 2003 and obtained a  license in Computer Science and Graphic Design in 2008. She continued her training collaborating with the lab of Interior design and painting by Badih Semaan in 2003 and Roger Semaan in 2004 in Lebanon, deepening the techniques of painting and sculpture.   The blend of these formative realities and the firm commitment to Art Graphics and Painting have created a production that emphasizes detail, where the chiaroscuro, shadow and light areas seem to bring the elements back to life . The works are characterized, from an executive point of view, by a considerable complexity due to the use of more strategies and techniques and styles. In the choice of the artistic theme she is like a chameleon: changes the image colors and style. For her, ‘’Art is freedom!’’.

Camellia Rostom, (Nome d'arte Camelia Rostom) nata a Beirut in Libano nel 1981, si è laureata in Educazione Artistica all'Università Libanese –Facoltà di pedagogia nel 2003, e ha ottenuto una licenza in Informatica e Graphic Design nel 2008. Ha proseguito la sua formazione collaborando con il laboratorio di interior design e pittura di Badih Semaan nel 2003 e di Roger Semaan nel 2004 in Libano , approfondendo le tecniche di pittura e scultura.  Il connubio tra queste realtà formative e l'assiduo impegno verso la Grafica d'Arte e la Pittura, hanno dato vita ad una produzione che privilegia i dettagli, dove il chiaroscuro, le zone d'ombra e di luce paiono riportare in vita gli elementi. Le opere sono caratterizzate, dal punto di vista esecutivo, da una notevole complessità dovuta all'utilizzo di più strategie e tecniche e stili. Nella scelta del tema artistico è come un camaleonte: cambia colori immagine e stile. L'arte per lei è libertà!
